Noodlez-N-Rice

The travel journey is over and the journey of life has begun! I have decided to quit updating the journey blogs and begin a family blog as the lines are beginning to smear between who each blog is about.

If you are curious about the title of the blog. . . . here is the story:

Audrie has loved noodles as long as we have known her. She loves Grandma Carol's noodles, macaroni and cheese, pasta salad, spaghetti, noodles at the Chinese restaurant, Hamburger Helper noodles, Pad Thai... she would love to have noodles all the time! Hence, her nickname has now become Noodlez. She will tell you that she is Audrie RoseLynne Noodlez Mayhall or sometimes just Audrie Noodlez Mayhall.

Jaxon is a rice man. (although he loves noodles too....that nickname is already taken). He loves brown rice, white rice, quinoa, couscous, rice with cheese, flavored rice, rice pudding, rice candy, rice noodles, and rice just about any way you can make it. So he has become Jaxon Lee Rice Mayhall.

So, the problem became... I could not find a good eye catching picture to use as a header. Unfortunately, Rice always comes before Noodles. Hmm... Well, Rice did come before Noodles, but we did not meet Rice until after Noodles. What an ordeal!

For those of you who know Noodlez... she will always be first in front of Rice if she can help it, so we have Noodlez-N-Rice.
